THE DAILY STAPLES

Despite having quite the makeup collection which my mum seems to think I won't be able to use in a lifetime, I've some how managed to whittle it all down into a few daily staples that give a simple, natural look without being too much for an everyday kind of situation.

For day to day, I really like a foundation that has a little coverage but doesn't feel too heavy so a pump of the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation works really well and has been my favourite option for the past few months. Combined with a little of the peach toned Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer shade under the eyes, this duo covers up any all the blemishes n' bags going on whilst still giving a natural finish.

When it comes to brows, I almost always stick to the Sephora Natural Eyebrow Pencil to fill in any sparse areas and give a little more definition. A quick comb through with the spoole brush provided and a few strokes through the areas which need a little more TLC is all you need to get those brows lookin' good..

By this time on an average school day, I'd have looked at my alarm and seen I only have 5 minutes to get to the bus so when it comes to eyes, it's all about the speed. If I'm feeling a little fancy, I'll reach for the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze for a little extra drama and then just blend that out with a fluffy brush across my eyelid. But for most days, I just opt for the MAC Eyeliner in coffee on the inside of my eyes and on the lash line as well as layering up a few of coats of the Volume Clubbing Mascara from Bourjois.

Thanks for reading!

  1. This is a good daily routine! I usually use my Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, but I've noticed over the past year of using it that my eyebrows have become extremely sparse. Maybe it's just age, but I've read other reviews on this happening to people who used this brow pencil. I'm going to look into that Sephora one!

  3. Don't like Bourjois Healthy mix it's too dry for my skin, but I love Bourjois 123 CC cream. I really want to try Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer .
